Metallic Materials

My research training in LPBF biomedical metals spans powder processing, additive manufacturing, materials characterization, mechanical testing, data analysis, and scientific communication.

This work gave me a practical understanding of how processing choices translate into microstructure and, ultimately, into mechanical, tribological, corrosion, and biological performance.

Research Logic

I learned to treat fabrication, microstructure, and performance as one connected engineering problem.

This processing–structure–property perspective shapes how I approach research: design the material state, measure what changed, and use the evidence to explain performance.

01

Fabrication

Translate powder processing and LPBF parameters into controlled material states.

02

Characterization

Use phase, microstructure, and deformation evidence to understand material evolution.

03

Interpretation

Connect experimental observations with mechanical, corrosion, wear, and biological performance.
